ProofCap connects to Stripe via read-only OAuth to independently verify MRR, churn, and payment health — without relying on exports, screenshots, or anything the seller controls.
What we verify
MRR & ARR
Computed directly from active subscription events — not from the Stripe dashboard summary.
MRR Bridge
New, expansion, contraction, and churned MRR broken out month-by-month for the trailing 12 months.
Churn Rate
Logo and revenue churn calculated from subscription cancellation and downgrade events.
Refund Rate
Total refund volume as a percentage of gross revenue — high refund rates are a fraud signal.
Dispute Rate
Chargeback and dispute frequency — above 0.5% of charges is a Stripe risk flag.
Plan Distribution
Revenue breakdown by subscription plan — concentration risk and pricing tier health.
New vs. Expansion Revenue
Proportion of MRR growth driven by new logos vs. expansion of existing accounts.
Payment Failure Rate
Failed payment and involuntary churn indicators.
Why Stripe exports aren't enough
A Stripe CSV export is easy to manipulate — rows can be added, deleted, or edited before sharing. A buyer receiving an export has no way to verify it matches the actual account.
ProofCap connects directly via OAuth. The data we see is the data in the live account — not an export the seller prepared. That's the difference between due diligence and document review.
